Brothers and sisters

Lately, I have been trying to treat my brothers and sisters better. For those of you who haven't had siblings in your lifetime, it is very difficult. There are sevaral reasons why it is not easy. The first and main one is pride. We as human beings have a dose of pride from the start. So when we do(or try to do)a good deed for someone, sometimes pride stops us. So back to the main thing. Like every body, I have pride which keeps me from letting him win the wresting match, or her win the talking fight. Second, lack of kindness and understanding. I will demonstrate. Let's say your brother/sister says something to you that can be good, or bad(they mean for it to be good). You take it for wrong and chew them to pulp. Of course like I said that is lack of understanding and kindness. The right thing to do would be to find out what they meant by that statement and whether it be good or bad say something kind in return. Third, grudgeness(unforgiving). Let's say that the same situation above took place agian. After chewing them to pulp you walk away and don't forgive. Cuts and bruises like that give scars for the rest of your life. As of right now, I have a problem with all of that. I recently read a book about brothers and sisters. It, and the guidance from my parents have really helped me alot. There is so many things that I didn't know. I have realized that I need to be looking to God for guidance too.
If anybody has any comments to help me out, please post a comment on this blog.

  2. Shiloh, I am still trying to recover from the abuse your Daddy dealt me as I was growing up. Please continue to work on him.
