More Arkansas Pictures...

Sorry Luke, I couldn't resist! He's gonna kill me!

Kind of a neat bridge.
Here is an old abandoned, long forgotten outhouse that none of us bothered to use.

I didn't know there was Gators in Arkansas until now...

The second lake we went to was so pretty!

At our campsite there was this...an "artisan well" where water shoots constantly up out of the ground through this pipe. The pressure from the earth forces the water up.  It was pretty cool! Good for drinking.

The water was so nice at the Oklahoma lake we went to, it was all we could do to keep from swimming in it the whole time!

Munch...Munch...Munch!

4 second exposure on the fire

Air Graffiti...

Ghost cup...(Teeth chattering)

Passing time by throwing rocks in the water and snapping the shutter when it hits...

Dusk on the last day there.  This picture has a blue tint to it, therefore I have named it blue.

Sunset the last night we were there.

Adventures...

Well we had an adventure this morning! It's seems as though every morning we wake up to a new one.
My mom was driving down the highway, heading to a friends house to have a morning walk, and suddenly she heard-shhhhhhhhhhhh. It turned out that the right back tire had blown out! So she called the walking friend and she brought her home.
It ended up the old man that lived in the house of the driveway that she parked in had a shaded garage, that we changed it in(it's hard to change a tire in 109 degree weather-just thought I'd add that
). So now my dad is really happy about getting to spend one grand on tires. I'm so happy for him. Grrrrrrrr....

A Time In my Life...

I am entering a time in my life where some exciting things are happening.  It won't be long and I will have my drivers license. I'm so excited about that!  I'll also be graduating within the next year and a half(hopefully). And I got to thinking about it, and I realized that, whatever I do in the next few years will alter the course of my life.  I want my life to be pleasing to the Lord as I get older, so whatever I do now better be, or else I don't have a chance.

Update...

We had a very fun time at frontier city last night!
I remember when I was younger, (11yrs old-13yrs old)there was always a feeling inside me when I would pass a roller coaster that gave me a weird feeling inside.  I wanted to have the thrill of going, but a feeling I couldn't explain always stopped me.
Then one time a few years ago when we went to frontier city, I told myself that I would go on all the roller coasters in the park. That was probably one of the most miserable theme park visits I ever have had.  Every time I would buckle into the seat of one of the roller coasters, I would think, "wow Shiloh, you're so stupid for going on this ride."  But slowly I became accustomed to the feel of them and the feeling went away.  Now sitting here today I'm so glad that I took that plunge to end my fear, because now, I can't get enough of the roller coasters.  When we went to Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO a couple months ago, I had the time of my life, partly because I was with friends and family, and partly because they have quite a few "big" rides that I really enjoyed.

Frontier City, Here We Come!

Well this morning, we were sitting at the breakfast table(also a lunch and supper table), and my mom pipes up, "can we go to frontier city today?" Well not EXACTLY like that, but close.  So my dad being the people pleaser that he is, looks at the ticket prices, and decides, "if the price is right for any other okc citizen, then the price is right for me."  So don't try to come to our house anytime after 2 p.m. today if you were going to give us a gift or anything, because you would have to leave it at the doorstep.  Just so everybody knows!
