Black Australorps...

 

These are our new chicks, the Black Australorps.

                                      I believe that chickens are the dumbest animals on
                                      the face of the earth(along with sheep, of course)!

                                      Since we got them from mcmurray hatchery, we
                                      got a free "rare" chick that came along with the

                                      other ones.  I think it's one of those "puffy-heads".

                                             

The Spoils of Summer...

Summer is here! Can you tell? Everything is blooming. It is very hot here in Oklahoma and I'm not complaining! I was tired of that cold and rainy weather. There is a ton of blackberry bushes in the woods here at our house! Hopefully my mom will make some goodies with them this summer!
