Swimming Pool......

Well, we got the swimming pool home, if you could even call it that.
When we got to the town of Ada, OK, my mom called the man that we were to buy the swimming pool from,  we could meet at "Loves"(gas station).  My mom misinterpreted that for "Lowes"(hardware store).  So we drove around Ada looking for Lowes hardware store.  We probably past "LOVES" gas station while we were looking for Lowes hardware store!
Well, since there's not even a Lowes hardware store in the whole town of Ada, guess what? we couldn't find Lowes hardware store!! What a coincidence!  So we stopped in a different gas station and asked a man where Lowes was.  I guess maybe he hadn't lived in Ada for long.  Because he told us to go to a four way stop, then turn right, go two stop lights ahead, then turn left, and you can't miss it.  So we did it, but lo and behold, where was Lowes hardware store?  Not there.  So we stopped in a bank and asked a lady in there.  She said that the man probably meant "The Home Depot hardware store".  So she told us how to get there.
In the meantime the swimming pool man called us on the phone and asked my mom if she was having a hard time finding LOVES gas station........"OH!  You said LOVES not LOWES", my mom said.  "Where are you now?"  the man asked.  "I'm at Vision Bank", my mom answered.  This was on the other side of town.  So the man said that he will come there.  5 minutes later, he got there and said, "This actually worked out really good because I live just down the street".  We were thinking, "okay, thanks for telling us"!  So we got out of the suburban and opened the back door.  The man was just sitting there in his pickup and we were just standing there waiting for him to get out of his pickup and help us load the swimming pool that we thought was in the back of his pickup.  He looked out of his window and said, "Oh, I'm sorry, I don't have it with me".  Boy, did we feel dumb!  So we followed him to his house, knowing now why he had made the statement, "This actually worked out really good because I live just down the street".
Once we got to his house, there was the swimming pool in his driveway.  It looked more like a bleached piece of rubber with dirt spread around on it nicely.  So we loaded it up in our clean suburban and "took'er home".  It's cleaning up nicely though.  And we should be swimming in it in a matter of days(by the time we get it all cleaned out and the ground ready)!  I never thought it would be that hard to get a swiming pool.  But it has all the pumps, filters, and tubes.  It doesn't even have any holes in it.  And it's 18'x52"  It was a pretty good deal for $100!
